How do I sign up to play in the PPHL?
Join our Discord,
open #🎨・roles and grab the PPHL role,
then head to #📝・pphl-forms and fill out the form for the
role you want (player, goalie, GM, etc.). GMs draft from that pool when the season starts.
How do I get into PUGs (pickup games)?
Pick the PUGs role in #🎨・roles so you get
pinged when a queue starts forming. PUGs run ad-hoc, so when enough players are around
someone fires up the queue and the role gets pinged. Watch #📋・polls
for league polls (PPHL season votes, schedule polls, etc.).
What mods do I need to play on Ponce's Puck?
Subscribe to our public workshop collection. It's the full set of required mods, kept current with whatever the servers are running:
Ponce's Puck Required Workshop Mods ↗
In Steam Workshop, click Subscribe to all. Restart the game once after subscribing so the mods download before you join a server.
Where are the stats and how are they recorded?
Leaderboards live at /stats/, and every player has a profile page under /profile/ with their lifetime totals, recent matches, and chat history. Click any name on the leaderboard to open it.
Stats are recorded automatically. Each Ponce's Puck server runs a small uploader that, at the end of every match, sends the box score (goals, assists, shots, +/-, hits, blocks, takeaways, turnovers, passes, PIM, saves, save %, etc.) to this website over an authenticated API. There's no manual step on the player's end. You just play.
Catch: matches with fewer than 8 distinct players are ignored. That keeps 1v1 messing-around games and warm-ups out of the leaderboard so they don't skew anyone's lifetime numbers.
Why isn't a match I played showing up in my stats?
The most common reasons:
- The match had fewer than 8 unique players (sub-threshold matches aren't recorded).
- The match ended in a server crash or restart before the box score uploaded.
- You played without your usual Steam account (stats are keyed by SteamID64, not in-game name).
If you're confident a full match is missing, ping a staff member in our Discord and include the rough time and which server you were on.
Where can I read the rules?
Server rules are at /rules/ and pinned in
#📌・rules. The full PPHL league rulebook is at
/pphl/rulebook/.
How do I check if I'm banned?
Use the ban lookup. Paste your SteamID64 (or a Steam profile URL) and it will tell you whether your account is on the ban list, the reason, when it was issued, and when (if ever) it expires.
How do I report a player for breaking the rules?
Open a Report Ticket in
#🎫・create-a-ticket.
Include:
- Proof (screenshots, video, chat logs)
- The player's Steam ID
- Approximate time and which server
Easiest way to grab a Steam ID: open the player's profile page on this site and copy the SteamID64 shown under their name.
How do I appeal a ban?
Open an Other Ticket in
#🎫・create-a-ticket.
Include:
- Your Steam ID
- In-game name & number at the time of the ban
- The reason you think you were banned
- Why you believe the ban should be lifted
You can confirm your current ban status on the ban lookup page first.
How do I link my Steam (and Discord) account to the website?
Click Sign in with Steam in the top-right of any page. That uses Steam's official OpenID flow (we never see your password) and creates a profile keyed to your SteamID64. From there you can optionally link your Discord account in profile settings so admins can see who's who.
Can I download the custom arena for my own server?
At this time our arena is not available for public use. We've put a great deal of effort and resources into its development and want to keep it unique to our community for now.
