We’ve seen a few reports of silent goal horns, outdated music playing, or game crashes tied to the new team audio settings. If your audio is acting up, find your specific issue below to get it sorted out:

If your team just set new goal music/horns but you are still hearing the old tracks (or a few players are getting total silence), your local Workshop files are out of date.

• The Fix: Go to the Steam Workshop link below, unsubscribe, and re-subscribe to force a clean update (YOUR GAME MUST BE CLOSED FOR THIS TO WORK):

This one is a bit niche, but a few players have had their local config file accidentally toggle the mod off entirely.

• The Fix:

1. Navigate to your local Puck game directory.
2. Open the config folder and locate oomtm450_sounds_clientconfig.json.
3. Open it with any text editor (like Notepad) and look near the top.
4. Make sure the disable line is set to false, exactly like this:

"DisableMod": false,

5. Save the file and restart your game.

If your game is suddenly locking up, hanging, or crashing entirely when loading into a server or during play, it is likely due to a corrupted Sounds mod download.

• The Fix: Completely update/reinstall the Sounds mod using the Steam Workshop link listed below (YOUR GAME MUST BE CLOSED FOR THIS TO WORK):

| Hello PPHL Free Agents, officially starting on Monday we will be releasing the PSI system. This is a method for our active Free Agents to help get themselves a foot in the door within a team and potentially work towards being signed.

💼 | Managers have been offered an opt-in system where they can select up to 7 Free Agents that cycle each week, unless specifically kept by the manager. as a way for them to participate in non-league-game activities. (i.e. scrims, VOD reviews, team events, etc)

⛸️ | An active player on a PSI is not entirely beholden to their PSI team. You are free to participate in other team discords as a Free Agent if you desire. If you feel that you're not able to be utilized on your current PSI team, you or your captain at any point may choose to have you drop from your current PSI. If, as a PSI player, you feel that your captain is intentionally not utilizing you for malicious reasons, you may file a PPHL Ticket and the issue will be investigated.

As a PSI Player, you and your captain gain one major benefit.
♦️ If a team other than your PSI team attempts to sign you, your manager has 24 hours to priority claim you to their roster via signing.

🎫 | Free Agents who don't respond to their PSI request within 24 hours will be removed from the system, at any point a player may choose to opt-out of PSI activities via PPHL Ticket. A player may choose to decline a PSI invitation without opting-out of the system entirely.

📃 | Good luck to our Free Agents, I know captains have already begun asking and preparing their PSI rosters for Monday. So keep your eyes peeled.

A huge thank you to everyone for making the first night of PPHL Season 2 a success! We appreciate all the players, managers, production crew, and everyone who helped get the season underway.

As with any new season, we're already working on a few behind-the-scenes improvements. One change we'll be implementing is that in-game challenges will no longer be allowed. If a team wishes to challenge something that occurred during a game, they must wait until after the game has been completed before submitting it to the League Staff.

Additionally, if a player disconnects due to connectivity issues, the game will be put on hold for up to 5 minutes to allow that player an opportunity to reconnect before any further action is taken.

As a quick reminder, please do not purposely place your stick in another player's point of view to obstruct their vision. Let's keep the games fair and enjoyable for everyone.

Also, League Stats are currently down while we work through some issues. We're actively working on getting everything back up and running as soon as possible, so please bear with us while we get everything sorted out.

Lets break down some important information for our progress into the actual PPHL season leading into next week.

We'll be dropping the first puck to start the PPHL Season on 2026-07-09 23:00 UTC. This gives you and your teams the opportunity to get some pre-season scrims in, figure out your starting rosters, and to just gel and meet your teammates. Free Agency is also immediately open upon this announcement for all Challenger Teams. Premier will need to wait until we send out the Premier Eligibility Sheet for Challenger Players to attempt to claw a spot out for themselves in the big leagues. Speaking of which...

Coming here tomorrow. Will be the Challenger to Premier Eligibility Sheet. This form is open and valid for all Challenger and Undrafted Players for you to confirm your Premier Eligibility to be signed and will be closed at the Trade Deadline. Signing this sheet during pre-season will immediately grant eligibility for Premier pick-up. Upon Premier season start on July 10th, signing this sheet will enter you into a waiver period for all Premier teams. Players cut from their Premier Teams will enter league-wide waivers, with priority to other Premier Teams before being allowed to enter Challenger.

If you are rostered on a Challenger Team and chosen to play Premier, you are still obligated to perform your duties to that Challenger Team. Anyone found disregarding their Challenger Team after being picked Premier will be given a league suspension based upon severity of the infraction.

This week has been a massive success! We saw so many standout players get into their combine matches over these last 6 days and go from an unknown entity to a high ticket item. All your plays, all your saves, and all your effort truly came out in each and every game. The buzz from the captains behind the scenes from all the footage they've seen of you over the Combines is leaving electricity in the air in the lead up to Friday's Premier Draft!

Even beyond just that, the sense of community and camaraderie from our time spent on that combine stage, or in the broadcast booth, or in each and every combine lobby is reward enough for us. With how excited everyone is to see where they'll go on the big stage in the coming days I don't think we could ask for more from you. You all make the PPHL special and from the staff it's an honor to be able to host these events for you all.

For those of you who missed it. today was also the Draft Lottery Reveal. Both Draft Pick Positions for Premier and Challenger have been decided officially. With some massive shake ups in both divisions the captains are hard at work figuring out their draft boards. Many of you may have already been contacted by one or more of those captains.

The first 4 rounds of the Premier Draft will follow this order and then change to a snake draft for the remainder of the picks. The Challenger Draft will be a snake draft the entire way through.

A huge thank you to everyone who signed up for Season 2! We're excited to see both returning and new players hit the ice as we begin another competitive season of PPHL.

The wait is almost over! Season 2 Combines officially begin tomorrow and will run from 7:00 PM EST – 9:00 PM EST each night.

This is your opportunity to showcase your skills, compete alongside fellow players, and make an impression on the managers before the draft.

⏱️ Each combine game will consist of three 3-minute periods, for a total game time of 9 minutes.

📅 The final night of Combines will be held next Tuesday, giving everyone multiple opportunities to get on the ice and showcase their talent before the draft.

While attending Combines is highly encouraged, it is not required to participate in the league. Players who are unable to attend will still be eligible for the draft and the upcoming season.

Be sure to arrive on time, be ready to play, and most importantly, have fun! Additional information regarding combine procedures and team assignments will be announced before puck drop.
